Focus, You Should Have It Right Now
Focus. Something that we all need if we are to accomplish anything. We can finish doing tasks even without much focus, but the result will always be a half-hearted one.
By now, your attention may be on a lot of things. Work, family, school, friends, lovelife, hobbies, to name a few. You are always preoccupied with a lot of work; your attention span is shorter than ever before. Your focus gets divided into a way like a whole pizza is cut into different small slices. You can’t concentrate on one thing at a time. You are always multitasking, not enjoying the simple treats in life. You are always out of focus.
You should not live like that starting now.
We get to govern what we put our attention or focus to. It is the exquisiteness of our life. But alas, that can also be a double-edged sword. We frequently tend to focus on a lot of things all at the same time, that is why we can over-focus often. That should not be the case.
Not just that, we also tend to over-focus on just one thing. When that happens, look around you. You will find a lot of things that will kindle your senses and that will make you feel that you are physically there. May it be a smell that can trigger your hunger, a song that blares out that instantly makes you think of a happy memory, the feeling of what you are stepping on, to name a few. There is a lot of things happening around you every day. You just need to “feel” them. This will help you regain focus.
You need focus in your life. But not just focus. You should always focus on what makes you happy. Don’t connect to the energies that suck the fun of life out of you. All of us has the control and aptitude to do so. Focus, focus, focus!
